The Intermountain Health Connect Care app provides a 24/7 virtual care option, allowing you or your child to consult with an Intermountain Health clinician for certain urgent care conditions using your phone or tablet. This convenient service is available for minor symptoms such as cold or flu symptoms, sinus pain, sore throat, painful urination, minor rash or skin issues, and upset stomach. Connect Care ensures that you can receive the care you need quickly and conveniently, no matter where you are. Each visit costs just $69 and is accepted by many insurance plans.

Connect Care offers an affordable solution to connect with highly-trained and board-certified nurse practitioners and physician assistants from Intermountain Health. With years of experience in urgent care, clinics, and hospitals, our healthcare professionals are specifically trained to provide telehealth services. Additionally, your primary doctor will have access to the visit results which can be incorporated into your overall care plan. For suitable conditions, we can even prescribe and deliver your medication to your home or nearest pharmacy.

Although Connect Care is a reliable option for many urgent care needs, it is important to note that it may not be appropriate for all conditions. If you are uncertain whether you are experiencing a life-threatening medical emergency or encounter any of the following symptoms, please seek immediate medical attention at your nearest emergency room:

 <li>Chest pain or pressure</li>
 <li>Uncontrolled bleeding</li>
 <li>Sudden or severe pain</li>
 <li>Coughing/vomiting blood</li>
 <li>Difficulty breathing or experiencing shortness of breath</li>
 <li>Sudden dizziness, weakness, change in vision, slurred speech, numbness, or other neurological changes</li>
 <li>Severe or persistent vomiting or diarrhea</li>
 <li>Changes in mental status, such as confusion</li>
 <li>Assault, physical or sexual abuse, or child abuse</li>
</ul>

If you use Apple Health, you also have the option to import your health information, including heart rate, blood pressure, body temperature, blood glucose levels, weight, nutritional information, and respiratory rate, into your Connect Care account.
